These three views depicts the scenes of the Union Right Wing advance onto the Antietam battlefield, during the time period of afternoon of the 16th to early morning on the 17th.
None of these three scenes are within the boundaries of the Antietam National Battlefield, and although they are accessible to the public, few visitors today visit them.
